Common questions
What counts as a character?
Every letter, space, and punctuation mark in the text you send to speech. A typical sentence of 10 words uses around 60 characters.
Do unused characters roll over?
No. The allowance resets at the start of each billing period. Unused characters don't carry forward.
What are audio clip downloads?
Paid plans let you save the generated speech as an audio file, in the exact voice and settings you chose. Useful for content creators, presentations, or keeping a phrase ready offline.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Manage your subscription any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. No cancellation fees.
Does the free tier ever expire?
No. The free tier is free forever and includes 3,000 characters of AI voices every month. You only need a paid plan if you want more AI voice characters or audio clip downloads.
Is there a family or group plan?
